Plan your meals and snacks to reduce calorie intake from 500 to 1000 calories a day. 3. Start some kind of aerobic exercise for at least 30 minutes per day. Walking is good but there are many other activities you can do. Sit ups and crunches do not help you lose belly fat and not burn as many calories as aerobic exercise. They will help tone and strengthen the abdominal muscles that will make you feel better and when you have lost enough weight look better.
